Been pretty busy these past few days…

I am sorry that I have not been posting a lot to my site.  I have had quite the busy schedule with celebrating my birthday and my Grandma’s birthday, 4th of July, working on a movie shoot, Les Mis rehearsals, basketball camp and other activities.  On Saturday evening we went to my Grandma’s (my dad’s mom) to celebrate our birthdays.  My birthday is July 5th and hers is July 6th.  We had a huge dinner, cake and ended the evening watching a fireworks display by the Oasis Church which is right next to her neighborhood.

Sunday was by far the busiest!  We had to wake up at 4:30am so we could be on the road to Lake Alatoona which is 60 miles from our house so I could shoot an early morning scene for the movie, “Dekiru – The Three Stones”.  My role is “Young Madison”.  It was worth it!  The director, Fred Grant, was super nice and great to work with!  So were all the other cast and crew!  I loved working with them and would love to work with them again in the future!  Later in the morning we were back on the road driving home so that we could have lunch with my Gran and Papa (my mom’s parents).  They took us to my very favorite restaurant, “Texas Roadhouse” to have my very favorite food, steak!  I got a birthday gift from them as well, “The Walking Dead: Book 1”, which is basically the first 12 comics from the original Walking Dead series.  I have already read it and loved it!  A bit different from the TV series but just as good!  Later in the evening I had rehearsal at The Aurora Theater for the upcoming production of “Les Miserables”.  I think musical theater is a calling for me.  I had a grin on my face the entire time!  I loved being on stage, blocking my scenes and all the cast and crew associated with the production!  Another interesting thing to note.  The girl who mirrors me as “Young Eponine” (since we are children we will rotate for each performance), is also adopted AND from Kazakhstan!  How cool is that?!?! :)

So that is a brief summary of my hectic life for now.  Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining, I like being this busy, especially with acting involved!  I just wanted to catch you all up since I have not had a chance to post regularly.  Anyway, I have posted some pics below, most of which were taken over the weekend:
