R.I.P. Robin Williams

I am very sad of the news of Robin Williams death.  He was such an amazing and versitle actor.  From Mork and Mindy to Popeye, The World According to Garp, Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, The Fisher King, Awakenings, Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Birdcage, Good Will Hunting, Night at the Museum…on and on I can go.  This man left behind such an impressive resume and a brilliant body of work stretching from very funny to very dramatic.  Any aspiring actor should look to his 30 plus years in the industry on how to go outside of your comfort zone to truly master the craft.  Gob bless him.  I hope he has found the peace that had apparently alluded him all of his life.

Such a true and profound statement.

Such a true and profound statement.

I found this clip on an FB friend’s wall this morning.  It is Robin Williams with Koko the Gorilla who uses sign language to communicate.  She took a real liking to him and as an animal lover, watching them interact is really sweet and heartwarming:
